Good Reasons Why Your Company Should Join the CPCA
The CPCA and you
The business environment of the chemicals sector is changing.
Companies are adopting new health and environmental practices while governments are hard at work in these areas developing new programs and policies, and new laws and regulations.
As the business environment grows more complex, companies look for insight and leadership, as well as opportunities to present their ideas and to join with others in common cause.
The CPCA brings together Canada’s major paint and coatings manufacturers, and their suppliers. In its work with governments, it employs activist government relations and issue management strategies in programs that reflect business imperatives.
Through improved technical investigation, case preparation based on sound science and strategic sector analysis, the CPCA seeks to create regulatory and policy frameworks that allow governments to meet environmental objectives and help industry meet business objectives.
You can join the CPCA and play an active role in your industry:
- Help influence the development of environment and other industry-related regulations
- Help shape product stewardship programs
- Take part in industry committees on critical sector issues
- Express industry concerns in formal and informal settings with Canada’s legislators and regulators
Or you can join the CPCA to receive strategic benefits:
- Real-time access to news on sector issues, regulations and legislation, and sector statistics
- Training opportunities for your staff
- Strengthened Coatings Care® accreditation
- Access to improved Management Information programs
